COVID-19 RESPONSE

The situation regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic within NSW, and around Australia, continues to evolve rapidly and we wanted to provide you with an update on what steps we are taking at Lidcombe Centre to maintain the health and safety of our customers.

We know there is concern in the community regarding Covid-19 and we want to assure you that we are proactively taking steps to ensure we can provide you with safe access to shopping and other services.

We have been closely monitoring the advice being given by the Australian Department of Health to ensure we are taking all appropriate steps to mitigate against the risk of transmission of the infection. We will continue to implement the highest levels of hygiene practises and strict cleaning standards, and have also introduced a number of additional measures. These include
• Increased cleaning of high contact surface points, including amenities, play areas, food courts, handles and rails.
• Hygiene and sanitary stations available throughout the centre
• Retraining all staff on hygiene practises and COVID-19

We will continue to keep you updated on a regular basis about how we are responding to Coronavirus through our social channels, email and website.

We would also ask that for the safety and health of our community that any customers that are feeling unwell or present flu like symptoms to remain at home, and to ensure you use the hand sanitising stations provided if visiting the centre.

We are confident that the Lidcombe community can come together, support each other and manage the current crisis.
